Privacy policy

The controller responsible for processing personal data is EVA STELLJES, available at info@healingstatesfilm.com.

Website delivery

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested page, browser and device information may be processed in server logs. Processing is necessary for secure and reliable delivery of the website and is based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are retained only as long as required for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Contact

If you contact us by email, we process your contact details and message to respond to your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted when the enquiry is resolved unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Payments through Stripe

Payments take place on a payment page provided by Stripe. Stripe processes the data required for payment, fraud prevention, tax handling and receipts on its own responsibility and, where applicable, as our service provider. Stripe’s privacy information also applies. We receive payment status, amount, transaction information and the email address supplied at purchase where necessary to perform the contract.

Vimeo

The purchased films are delivered through Vimeo in the protected viewing area. Vimeo may process your IP address, device information and technically necessary usage data. This processing is necessary to provide the purchased digital content under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The publicly available short trailer is served directly from this website and does not connect to Vimeo.

Purchase and access

To process purchases and provide personal access, we process name, email address, payment status and necessary access data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Tax and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods.

Recipients and international transfers

Where necessary, data may be disclosed to hosting, payment, video and technical service providers. Transfers outside the European Economic Area use applicable legal safeguards, particularly adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time for the future. Google Analytics and cookies

With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure page views and selected interactions such as playing the trailer and beginning checkout. Google Analytics is not loaded without your consent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings, with effect for the future. Google may also process data in the United States using the legal safeguards it provides. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.

Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to purchases of personal online access to “Healing States: Doorways to the Spirit World / Heilen und Schamanismus: Dokumente anderer Wirklichkeiten” by consumers and businesses. Institutional, public or commercial use requires a separate written licence agreement.

2. Product

Personal access includes twelve films, each approximately 25 minutes, in German and English. Access is unlimited in time and intended only for personal, non-public and non-commercial viewing.

3. Contract and price

The website is an invitation to make an offer. The contract is concluded upon completion of payment through Stripe and subsequent confirmation. The displayed total price is a one-time payment and includes applicable VAT.

4. Delivery

Access is delivered electronically to the email address supplied at purchase after successful payment. Customers must provide a correct email address and keep access credentials confidential.

5. Licence

You receive a limited, non-transferable right to stream the series privately. Sharing credentials, copying, downloading, public screening, editing, resale or any other exploitation is prohibited without prior written permission.

6. Technical requirements and availability

A suitable internet connection, current browser and compatible device are required. Temporary limitations due to maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control cannot be entirely excluded.

7. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. Liability is governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights and liability for personal injury, intent and gross negligence remain unaffected.

8. Governing law

Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection granted by the law of their habitual residence.

9. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online contract within fourteen days without giving a reason.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires when performance begins after the consumer has expressly consented to immediate performance, acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will thereby be lost, and received confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.

If these requirements have not been met or delivery has not begun, you may exercise your right within the statutory period by sending a clear statement to info@healingstatesfilm.com.
